About CFC: The Canine Federation of <st1:country-region><st1:place>Canada</st1:place></st1:country-region> (CFC) is one of the primary registries for purebred dogs in <st1:country-region><st1:place>Canada</st1:place></st1:country-region> under the auspices of the Canadian Agriculture and <st1:place><st1:City>Agri-food</st1:City> <st1:country-region>Canada</st1:country-region></st1:place>, and as an adherent to the Federal Animal Pedigree Act (1988).  In addition to further authority listed hereafter, the Federation is allowed to register and identify pure-bred dogs, for all the provinces and territories of <st1:country-region><st1:place>Canada</st1:place></st1:country-region>.  It was founded in 1988 and has grown ever since. Its membership has more than tripled in the last 3 years.  <o:p></o:p>

Interest in CFC events has been so overwhelming over the past three years, that we will be extending our activities in <st1:State><st1:place>Ontario</st1:place></st1:State> and other provinces in 2007. We intend to hold at least two major competitions and expect that demand for additional competitions will make <st1:State><st1:place>Ontario</st1:place></st1:State> a hub of CFC activities in the near future. This annual event has gained great notoriety and is attracting more exhibitors and the public each year.  In the small town of <st1:City><st1:place>Kamouraska</st1:place></st1:City>, Qc  in August 2005, our show attracted over 4000 visitors and the same for the show held in <st1:City><st1:place>Montreal</st1:place></st1:City>. <o:p></o:p>
