Okay show people, tell us what you think. What do we need to work on with this 6 months old little girl and what do you think of her? Everyone else please chime in here. There will be no hurt feelings. Good chance to learn to judge and critique. Rgds Thaidane |

Just a short comment, Im so impressed of your dogs quality in fur and all of them are in good shape! Clean and healthy looking! (You are in Bangkok, Thailand Serge, they should look like eaten of mosquitos! or be dirty from pollution! LOL ) Your teory about "creating champs" is true. Kind regards Tina |

Hi Serge, Sorry I have taken so long to comment on Urai. At 6 months I am reluctant to evaluate the conformation, as the age is so young and in a growing stage where many of the parts seem not to fit with other parts. I will comment on Urai's head. The planes of the forehead and muzzle are excellent, with a slight but definate stop. Her muzzle is too long. Her head, at 6 months is too narrow, but may widen with maturity. I feeling is that it will not change much, so I feel a wider head is in order. Generally speaking, the neck length is good, but not strong enough. The view from the front is good, with excellent straight legs and beautiful correct feet. The length of body very good. Yes, coat and coat colour is excellent! Front and rear angles balanced, but I would like to see more angulation to both. My best, Ann |

Not my type of head. Muzzle too long and head too narrow. I don´t like the lighter color on muzzle either, but the color of the rest of her body is beautiful. I prefer stronger neck also. And more and broader chest, but she is still a baby. Very good topline and body lenght. Excellent tail. Straight and strong front legs. Prefer more angulations back.
Kind regards/Susanne Petersson |

Hi ThaiDane, As a newcomer I dare to comment....and hope to learn... :-) Strengths: Her muzzle is nice and broad. She has good colour and coat, and strong straight legs viewed from the side and front. Her chest depth seems correct and so does the shape of her trunk. She is well-balanced length-to-height. Her tail shape seems to standard (BTW: 'like a sword' means to me, the shape of a Thai sword - slightly curved, but not curled or straight out...is my interpretation correct?) with nice curve, and tight hair. Her eye is of correct shape and colour and well-set. Weaknesses: Her muzzle could be further improved on by selecting a shorter-muzzled male as litter sire. Her head could also have shown more strength (and wringkle?). Her turn-of-stifle could be improved on (too straight), and her ears should be more oval. Her elbow seems a bit loose, and tail set slightly high. Her feet could be tighter. Considering her tender age, she is very well-balanced and provides a well-rounded picture of a female TRD. BTW - can you post a picture of her ridge? Correct me where I'm wrong, Bronwyn |

Thank You for all your kind comments!! I do agree with all your comments here, is true that she have better overall structure than her littermate, but one thing we should keep in mind that type are very important in every single breed, it's very serious when we cannot recognized the breed from the appearance, we need learning more from "how to judge the breed without just seeing the ridge". She is lovely.... She is sweet.... She have nice color and ridge.... and she move like a wind.... BUT she is not correct type. Rgds Thaidane PS: ridge picture will post when I have it |

Dear Serg, I have problems here, my eye doesn't always "see" what others do. This bitch looks to me very Dobie in head. Long muzzle and ears, plus neck thick and longer looking as Dobie. To me many seem closer to other breeds and I agree, a ridge does not make the breed. Is there Dobie in it? Do you know? Jo-Ann

Sorry Serge, but I do not care for her. This is not the "type" I think the standard calls for. I completely agree with Anne on her critque. Like Joanne, the first thing that came to mind when looking at her is Doberman and lots of it. |
