Suzanne,

I dont have a probelm with her none at all..I dont have a problem with anything.i think she turned out very nice..
For me, I like a little more muscle and weight..
She is female, and I recognize we would want more elegant appearance, but i dont think more muscle and substance takes away from that.

I think she stands a good  shot in the wordl show and is why I aksed..

but from now on, and this goes for everyone..

if you post your dog here, my critique is they are perfect...no more comments needed from me.

no more work needs to be done, you all achieved perfection in my eyes. best of luck with your perfect dogs.

James, I never thought You had any kind of "problem" with her.
I think that she is very nice but could have a bit more substance, and from Your post I understand that You do too.

I like Your posts very much in this section. Maybe because I usually agree with them...
I think it would be very sad, and boring, if everyone only said the positive qualities of each dog. All dogs have negative and positive qualities, and usually you as an owner allready know about the positive ones. Its the negative you need most help with to see.

Kind regards/Susanne

James: I don't know about the rest of the members but I like the critiques. It's the only way I would be able to learn about the breed. Not too much literature to go by and no dogs around to compare either.

If they don't want other people's opinions why do they post the pics then???

Peace

pAt

Of cause I want critics, and thats why I post her.
--too see if I am kennelblind or not.
But I dont have to agree with all your critics, its just a picture, an moment in her life. See them for real is different, and I use to be surpriced when I have only seen them on pictures earlier..
I make my image of the ideal TRD from Serge and what he have teached me, from written judgecritics and from your judging here at the board, and trying to see as many TRDs as possible for real...etc. "You be the judge" is an part of it, but not the whole truth.

She is fawn, reddish fawn, with light nails.
Blaze has the same colour today, 6 of his kids got the same colour, 6 are blue (5 of them with Singha gold), 2 light isabella and 2 black (or brownish black).
She is healthy, correct bite, and full dentition, Do DS, no hernia, tight paws, good tail of good length, but I still want straigher and ticker tail on her mate.
Her head is exellent in my opinion, nose of right length (Blaze has too much nose), great scull, big cheeks, and tight lips.
Thats correct she needs more muscles, but she dont need stronger bones. She is about 24 kilos and 56 cm.
Maybe her tuck up makes her look airy?
Anyway, she is better then last generation, and have got the best from both parents.
Cleo have been on 4 shows. Her littermates use to win over her, she needs to be more confortable in the ring.

James, fzzzt, are you supriced about her back and tailset? Just some weeks ago, you told me my breeding needs to improve about that.. lol
Yes she is going to the show, with an handler that hates it (me more shy).
No, Serge, my dogs are not uniform, some of them got too much lips, short or curly tail etc, but they are all good dogs, and can be used in my breeding program, hope I can manage to pick the best from each dog.. haha.

Please feel free to give me advice about what too look for in an future partner for her, maybe next year?
Tina

Tina,

disagreeing is fine, but you seemed defensive in your post.
I know pics are just that , but you must remember that it is all we have to go by.

I cant see your dog in real life. And I think these pics display her very well, and well enough to form an evaluation.

I agree also with your remark on her tuck up, and was what first torubled me, but I feel rather then remark specifically on it, mentioning her "substance" covered it all. I know she is young and will put more weight and muscle on, but I must remark on what i see now..I dont have a crystal ball.

Structurally, I think she looks excellent and very well balanced.
i dont recall remarking ever on toplines in your dogs, but definitley about tail sets, which she made a great improvement..But 1 dog does not correct the situation, but its a start.
When the litter produces most of the pups with proper tail sets, is when you have made true progress.

Now you must introdcue the proper male, with lineage of proper tail sets, to increase the percentage in your litter.

This , in my opinion, requires a red or black dog from red lineage. This will also give you the thickness and lengths you seek, but it also means introducing a longer coated dog, which you seem against.

As long as you have continued "blue" influences, the same results will continue to surface.
These introductions will also improve the "over tucked" effect..
You can see clear differences in red/blue underlines.

We all tend to be kennel blind as it always takes an outsider to see something we don't, or don't want to see, as we will rationalize it's"correctness' in our minds, or let a stronger trait overshadow the fault, thus the fault can tend to be ignored.

What is needed , is to decide what is more pertinent at each breeding, and what is striven for in each litter.

I did not get everything I wanted in my last litter, but I did get it all in different pups, the problem, is somehow getting what you want all into one pup.

forgot, good luck in the show with her.. although unique, if she had better color, I think you would definitely come out a winner..
But your chances still seem high...
train diligently with her...

Thanks, Respect!
Im not against longer coat.
Sakorn is one of my ideal blue dogs. Remember my new dog?
Shorter hair is dominate genes, so I think I will get "shorter" in first generation anyway. It seems like its very hard to "produce" wide ridges and longer hair....at least from my combos.

James,
Don't throw hissy fit. No dog is perfect yet. Don't forget some members must translate the language and things can get lost or picked wrong meaning.
Like you said about it being just a picture - sometimes it is just a word. While we Americans understand the limitations of language - having to translate it must really be bad. I always remember Serge trying to find "crap" in the dictionary.

Tina
I feel so bad for you and so bad for the dog it haunts me. My worst fear you are living it.
Have you had any luck finding him?
I can't imagine the breeders letting you go through this alone. I as a breeder would travel miles and hours to help one of my pups. Shame on them!!!
Let us know Tina

Sincerely Terri
ps How is the Fawn male pup doing?

Terri, Thank you for your reply.
The dog is found in Prag. I have NOT got him back.
It will be an police report, because in my opinion "He is stolen", full payed, passport and pedigree is here..
Breeder brought him back 2 hours by car from Prag.
She never informed me, and never planned to do.....all is about $$$$$$. Make me pay more.....

About the pup. well I sold him, but after 3,5 weeks they realiced they cat had big fear for him, so I suggested to buy him back. Sad, but no reason to convince them to work trough it...
He lives by me again. I call him "Darvin", and he is a cutie. Smart as you noticed by the pics.
I love all my dogs so its ok to me, BUT, 3 TRD males in my house? Any suggestion? haha. Tina.
