Kathy Martel would appreciate a 'judging' from everyone - so she can get her 'eye in' for other appearances of TRD than the one she has been looking at for 8 years!!! This would be particularly helpful given that they will be looking for a new dog to campaign and need the current 'popular' types and characteristics.

As there is always at least a four-way split on everyones' ideas of what is nice and less-so on these boards, she can be sure to get loads of conflicting information from us!!!

Please refer to Xena's album page 1 - she has two pet piccys and one show picture, side on. I think you can get a full view from the thee.

All - please join in???

Ok  alittle difficult without pic to refer to.
Head , very femine, well set ears, and proper proportions.
Topline-fair-sway back and high in the reaqr.Would need better stack foto, but even visually correting her stack, she still would be too high in rear.
Front, needs more chest.
Rear, to high-and underangulated, appears too long in the thigh
Neck-perfect arch and length
Tail, can not comment on,not standing.
Front appears strait
Ridge,appears slight unsymmetrical
Her best attributes,I would say is her head study
torso- height to length not proportionate, too long in body versus height, typical in females, but she appears too long

My opinion: (for its little worth) I like her head and neck - very feminine and elegant and I think the longer back is correct - you know how I like them long and slim. I particularly admire her rear legs - not disproportionate like a Deerhound (excessive thigh to hock length) but in nice proportion. Front maybe a little more prosternum but not much - like the smooth hint of brindle colour (like LaiThai) - shoulders forelegs a leetle bit straight but still balanced to me. I agree - sway back and too high over the croup - fault is length of croup excessive puts the end up too high. (I think thats what serge said caused it).
Lovely bitch and excessively well preserved. My sort-lean hunter, smooth and sleek. Older type.

hard to see her lines in first pic and looks a bit on the heavy side but then looking at the second from the pics i have seen in the past and so on id say she was smart, only thing i would pick out is feet and deff no need for more chest she looks very strong and looks like she could do what she was built for,
dogs made to stack is such a shame i like to see the natural stand  any old dog can be taught to stand to hide faultsbut she looks to be standing naturaly there for looks good .beautifull head and extreamly pretty ears and well set.

novice in trd but knows a well build dog when i see one from 25 yrs of breeding working dogs id like to see natural play in the park pics of her before i passed any thoughts on her stance.
