Hallo Nadine, I really like Filou! He is very handsome. I hope that Tinka and Filou would get as beautiful children as their parents are. I really like in Filou that he is very masculine and he has very good colour. He also has beautiful ridge. Best regards Anna |

He is a boy with good bones. And seems to have good body lenght (not too long).
Same as Thalaw; on the side picture he is not alert. would like to see a sidepicture of him when ALERT. Judging from this side picture his expression, tail setting etc is not to his favour...
I have seen pictures of Filou long time ago. He did not look so good on those pictures. They obviously caught him in "bad moments", but also possible that he has matured into a more handsome dog.
I think he is good for Tinka! By the way; how many females has he mated?
The front picture shows he has good front. I like his head, but prefer a bit more "TRD expression". Good ears, well set.
Very good pigmentation lips and nose, but could have a bit darker eyes.
Well muscled neck. maybe a bit short, but can give that appearence when well muscled.
Good ribcage. Very good topline and underline.
Can´t really say anything about tail, cause he is not alert on picture...
Good coat color.

Hi Susanne,
it´s not easy to photograph him alert. He is very lazy and only alert when we are dancing. He is a real couchpotatoe nothing can unsettle him. When we made this pictures I jumped in front of him, made noices and show him food. His eyes asked me if I´m cracy and he kept cool.
He mated Venice vom Tor zu Rheingau and Basilika Kamba Anatulinda. And another breeder from the czech republik expect to come with his two red females. And we will use him for Tinka and my own female Vichy.
With Basilika he had last year puppies. 2 red with black mask, one black and 4 dark blue. All healthy.

I like at Filou that he has not such a wide chest and especially his friendly charakter. Everybody could take food out of his mouth or turn him on his back. He likes to lay with friends of mine on my couch and wants to be fondle.

I have the same with Singha; the more I jump around and make a fool out of myself the more bored she looks... *S* But she gets very alert when she sees other dogs, especially if they suddenly appear from a distance. Is it the same with Filou? If it is I suggest You take him and a camera and go out somewhere to a place were You know there´s a big chance that You´ll meet an owner with his/her dog on a walk. So grab a camera and hope You´ll get lucky! ;-) |

For making better pictures we went out to the place where a lot of horses are. Ordinary they run around and Filou looks for them, but on this day they all stood still. :(
Vichy is totally different. On every picture she is alert, like you can see on my pictures and those Edwin added.
Singha´s complet name is Worldwide Leader Singha Gold or? Than she is related to my Samorn, or??

He he, You had a bit of bad luck then... *S* No, Singha´s complete name is Worldwide Singha Gold. If I remember correctly then yes, they are related. On mothers side. Singha´s parents are Pho Daeng & Luug Plap. Cute puppies. Do You have any pictures of them when they are older? Basilica is litter sister to father of Sawath. His name is Kamba Anatulinda Thai-Blaze. What do You think of her? I have never seen her in real life. |

I´ve sent you an E-mail with pictures of a son of Filou.
Do you get them?
I really like Basy, she is not very big, I think she has 51cm. She has a chocolate colour and a nice body. You can see some pictures on Kamila´s homepage.
The parents of Singha are from the other breeder in Germany. I thought she is sister to Vilma. Her father is Rioux, a male breed by us.
What do you think about my female Vichy??? Everybody judges Filou but nearly nobody wants to judge her.
Now I have to go out with my dogs for a walk.

I have seen those pictures of Basy. But it´s different when You see the dog in real life. Some dogs are photogenic, and some look better in real life. The dogs looks can also depend a little on the photographers skills... So Basy is only 51cm?? Her brother Blaze is 62 cm, big difference! No, Singha is not sister to Vilma. But they are related on mothers side. Is Vilma´s mother related to Samorn? Or how is it? Vilma is from Rioux´s first litter. Are there more litters after him? Have seen some very nice photos of him, especially a couple of puppy photos! :-) Love his beautyful masculine head! Is Rioux still alive?? Do You have some photos of him to send? |

Hello! Nice looking Filou! How long was his tail before the accident? Do you have pictures? Im the owner of Basilikas brother Blaze. And also Blazes daughter Salaween, Zelda from Singha (Susannes dog), sister to Sawath. I also have to puppies from Blaze and Buakheio (black, bowlingpin ridge) the puppies are boys, blue and fawn. Next year I will looking for a black male for my "Bukki" Buakheio.... How many kilos are Filou? And height? Has he other colours in his pedigree? Bukki is 24 kilos, 56 cm. /Tina, Sweden. |

I add you a picture where Filou still had his long tail.
Filou and Basy will have this year again puppies. Kamila wrote me that she is more fat than last year and there it were 7 puppies. I will make a album with pictures of his childs.
Filous is of a litter of 8 puppies, 4 black and 4 red with black mask. His father is black. the colour of his mother I didn´t know. I wrote an Email to his breeder, and asked him if he sent me a pic, but I still wait. Of his father I have a picture and he really looks like Filou.
Filou has 58 cm and 27 kilos. He has only muscles because I do a lot of sports with him like Dog Dancing, Agility, running and driving by bike.
Bukki is a really big female. Vichy has only 54 cm and she is one of the biggest female in comparisson to the females I saw on shows in germany and netherlands.

Nice tail. Like his big ridge. Do you know more about last litter from Basilika - Filou? Basilika is wery short-coated, Filou has longer coat (not to long), do you know coat lenght of puppies? Where do they live? In Tjekkia? Are there any males from first litter good enough for mating? How far is her pregnacy this time? /Tina |

Hi,
I made a photo album with three puppies from the litter of Basy and Filou. I also add a picture of the whole litter.
There you can see the coat.
Basy will have the 60th day this sunday. Kamila said she is more fat than last year.
All the puppies live in czech republik only Buffy lives here in Germany, but he is still castrated. This was the first dog for the people and they only wanted him as pet. He is really nice and very friendly, he plays with all males and females and jump up on everybody.
Butter fly can be used as stud male, I think. The homepage of his owner is www.thai-ridgeback.org .
But there were 4 males in the litter. But I didn´t know what is with the 2 other males.
