Took this pic not long afte the run-down, which was a 2.4km run in patrol order (weapon, webbing and giggle hats). The weather was hot, pushing 40C by 1000 and not a breath of wind, and so humid, it was shocking. The C7A1 woth the ELCAN sight, and the C6 GPMG can be seen here plainly. Units participating from memory were, Lake Superior Scottish, the Lorne Scots, the Govt of Canada Foot Guards, the Royal Canadian Regt, 5 RALC (French Canadian) and the Cdn Navy too. NO one knew me here, but as usual, they knew people that I knew.... |
