The 502 was unique in that it used 3 intensifier tubes instead of the normal one, this made it far superior to any other gen1 and most gen 2 NV scopes, even today's gen 1 models don't compare. The scope was also used on the Carl Gustav 84mm antitank weapon, so you can imagine how well its built. The recticle system worked so well it was maintained up till at least the PVS4 units, parts will interchange. |
