AWM (Australian War Memorial), Canberra. This is a full size diarama of our soldiers in Viet Nam. Fully kitted out with the SLR and related items. Over 50,000 troops were sent from 1962 to 1972, with just under 600 KIA. With a tiny population of about 13 million at the time, 50,000 troops is a large commitment. Lest we forget all who served. |
