Our TST GMV (General Maintenance Vehicle) in Wksp Coy, 5 CSSB lines as we had to replace 8 ordnances on our L118s due to Tpt damage which exceeded $A 1,2 million dollars.
It took about 2 days to complete the tasking working 24 hrs/day.
Mayhem at its finest, and as usual RAEME lead the way. I was stuck in charge of the whole op, and was awarded the Commanding Officer's Accomandation for organising and completing the tasking. That's SGT Tont Treacey on the far right. Tony was posted in from A Bty, the RAA's (Royal Australian Artillery) only Airborne Bty in the Army. A really good bloke and a Hamel 'friendly' Guru.
It was hot and dusty as you could ever imagine, and water consumtion was a must, but contamination caused over 12 personnel to be in the RAP with a wicked case of the runs. Taken 11-01 |
