Glad to have you back on the 'net after a long down time.  No commo from Butch for a long time either.  Anyone had commo with him lately?

 

How in the world could anyone imagine that being deployed to a combat zone is fun and games?  Geez.  People are trying to kill you in these places -- that alone should tell anyone that this is not an ordinary "walk in the park."  Of course you try to sound happy in letters and on the phone, you don't want to worry your loved ones.  Besides, their worries can't help either you or them, and so you try to sound in good spirits.
