Today is 29 May 2006.  Memorial Day.

 

Today is the day that we remember the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines that served and others that made the final sacrifice.

 

"I am not a hero.  I served in the company of heroes." paraphrased from an interview with Maj. Dick Winters who was with Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne that jumped into Normandy, Holland, was in Belgium, and went into the German Reich.

 

Let us remember them all.  Some of them no longer walk with us except in our memories.

 

All gave some.  Some gave all.  The price of freedom isn't free.
