This form is dedicated to the North American cousins to the FN FAL and L1A1: the M1 and M14 rifles.  Since Beretta was a licensee to build the M1 rifle, and later developed an M14-type battle rifle based on the M1 called the BM59, it is listed here also.  A warm welcome to all.
