Greetings all,

Well, for those that don't know where I am, I've been in Iraq since August. Ya its pretty wild here at times, but we are comfortable. I can't get into my Unit or what we do, but overall we are performing well, and are always busy.

I will say in the tradition of past ANZACs, we got big boots to fill. We are a part of Australian military history, making a positive effect on our missions overall, doing what we came here to do.

When I get back to Australia come April, plenty of pics to post, but with the ongoing mission platform for us in the region, it would be wrong to say more, adn I am sure you understand that. None of us would never do anything to undermine our won safety adn the safet of others caught up in this mess.

I am fine, well looked after, a Platoon Sergeant, I got great mne, we are warm, dry, well fed, and always busy. Don't worry. No news is good news.

I have an APO, so if you want my address, email Butch or Missing Something.

I am using an Eotech sight sapplied by a good friend in Texas. Its real good for doing its job, especially on the fly, hanging out a batwing of a LAV at 70kph. Much better then the EY sights ot top of the F88's 1.5X optics.

Hope to hear from anyone of ya's.

Cheers,

Wes
