The M63 is, I think, a rare bird everywhere (except maybe PRC) as the only known export was to Zambia. This one was captured in 1980/81 when SA forces cleared (and then occupied) the southern part of Zambia of all SWAPO elements after they had mortared Katima Mulilo in the Caprivi. The selective fire rifle is a strange mixture of AK, SKS and M14 type features - but interesting nevertheless. I don't know of any other examples in SA. |
