We received a batch of M79s in the late 70s (I wonder from whom in those days of the arms embargo?). They were immediatly modded by having the trigger guard catch welded so the guard could not swing to the side (Artic gloves are NOT big here!). Subsequent mods were the fitting of a folding, inverted R4 butt then they became obsolete when the locally designed/prodced MGL was intro'd. |
