These Jap aircraft were shot down over Darwin on the 1st air raid on 19 Feb 42. Over 250 people were killed in Darwin that day. It should be noted that this Zeke came off the same Jap aircraft carriers that attacked Pearl Harbour, and it is more than likely this aircraft pictured here took part in the Pearl Harbour raid. |
