Well he apparently has changed his mind about selling these, at least to me

No reply to my email after almost a week so just going to say "buyer beware"

Recieved my two in the mail today.  Bags were in excellent condition and metal had about 90% finish remaining.  I am pleased

I received mine a week or so ago. he has no more to sell for now. Ok now how does this thing attach without scratching the receiver???

 

It should slide right on.  The bar on the bottom with the leather cover is to provide tension against the botom of the receiver.  If any slight scratching is to occur it would be on the top cover.  To avoid this you could always add a little black tape to the underside of the section that contacts the top cover
