Head's up, chaps! I just received a Long (L) C1A1 butt stock in excellent condition from Pat Jones, 708 Brahma Court, Post Falls, Idaho 83854, contact [email protected]. Pat did have a selection of various lengths at the time I ordered. If you need one, contact him ASAP. |

Guys, If you need the lower sling swivel parts for your C1 butt stock, Marstar in Canada can supply the two butt swivel screws, the butt swivel, and the upper butt swivel plate. They don't have the lower plate, but that's easy to replicate. If you need them, they're the only source I've found so far. MG |

Caveat Emptor with Marstar Bob, my personal experiences have been all bad of course YMMV but just a word of caution |

I understand that some folks have had problems with Marstar. However, I have gotten those parts that I ordered (not that many) and without problems. It may be that the ones I ordered were low volume sale items that they were glad to dump on some poor sod? I don't know about that one. Folks have had problems with Sarco, Inc. in the U.S. (as an example). I've ordered from them off and on for years and I've gotten my parts in a reasonable amount of time. Others have had all sorts of horror stories. Is there any lesson here? I don't know, unless I have a guardian angel that helps out when I order parts! LOL |

with me it is IMA, I always had great luck with them... many have not, I believe most of the time it is the person who happens to fill the order or who takes the order that counts more then the vendor's name... Ford vs. Chevy... they all make lemons |
