How ironic that this thread should appear here today......................................I lost my best 4 legged friend this morning. My heart is extremely heavy and I mourn the passing of my precious "Barbell". My 28 year old Quarter Horse Gelding. Old you say...well perhaps in age but in mind we would think we were still a yearling able to do any and all things.
Bar bell was born May 26, 1979, in Fairview PA. to proud parents Cozy Poco Bee (Dad) and Lady Steppenwolf (Mom). He was legally dubbed "Cozy Bar Keep". Some of his talents were one heck of a roping horse, A comedian, a loving compassionate friend, and one always up for an adventure.
Barbell leaves behind a grieving family and a partner in crime "Ponderosa Joe" known in lower cirlcles as just plain "Joe"....who constantly calls out for his long time friend.
Rest in peace my precious Barbell....you will be forever in my heart as you run those meadows in heaven. I miss you
