Sport Talk!  Brag about your favorite team! Expound upon the  exploits of your favorite player! Tell about your experiences as a fan! Bemoan that lousy team you support!  Talk sports!

Lincoln City FC have had an awful season up to now in the English Football League which has seen us near the bottom of Div 2 <but i nthe last 2 weeks weve won 3 games on the trot and the Red Imps are beginning to pull away from those in peril of the dreaded drop Come on you Imps!
Im not a Manchester United supporter but spare a thought for the 50th annv of the Munich Air Disaster The lost of all those players from the United team ,, The Busby Babes,,, was a terrible loss to the English game

Hey Bob Have you been watching the US Masters golf? Look out for a Brit called Ian Poulter who is doing well. My mate Vernon is a teacher down south at Stevenage near London and he taught Ian English

Congratulations to Mark Cavendish as he wins the fifth stage of the Tour de France

THE TIMES news - Cometh the hour, cometh the Manxman. Mark Cavendish, 23, emerged from the jostling mêlée at the climax of the 232-kilometre fifth stage of the Tour de France to support his claim as cycling’s top sprinter with an irresistible dash to the line in Châteauroux.

“It’s the biggest thing to have happened to me and to do it so young is massive,?Cavendish, of Team Columbia, said. “I came here with the intention of winning a stage and I would have gone home disappointed if I hadn’t.?/FONT>

Mark is described by some as "the Wayne Rooney of cycling, but the only thing wrong with that is that Mark is probably better."

The worlds fastest and best sprinter at this moment in time and France has his success emblazoned all over their newspapers. Why don't we??

- Kaz
