I was just wondering with the gas prices affecting ticket prices did your waves seem smaller this year. Our usual group did not go this year. I really miss not going.
And I heard the give a ways were better, more lap tops and better prizes. |

Yes, it was WAY small than last year. The area in front of the big theater was never so swamped that you couldn't find anybody. And the balcony seating was empty!! |

We had quite a few people from our cluster attend (a few less than usual, i think) but it did seem like there wasn't as much "traffic" around this time - smaller groups in workshops, shorter lines at some things, just generally not as crowded as in past years. Then in general sessions, it looked like more people than I'd seen walking around which was kinda weird. Apparently it didn't help my chances of winning anything from the serve it up squad,lol (unless my director didn't tell me about it - I had to leave early wed to catch my flight & missed the last session). |
