whowhere.com used to be good  (it told you all the people associated with a name) but now it seems to just be trying to get you to pay for info. You can get some info by doing a white pages search and then click on view online personality.  That will give age and some relatives.

Wow!  I typed myself into the pipl one...quite a few results.  Most were not me, but a few were me including a couple of things I didn't even know were out there!  And there's someone with my same name...including middle which is really odd because my middle name is spelled different from the usual ways.  It was a typo on my birth certificate that my mom decided not to ever change.

Wow, this is REALLLLLLY sCaRy stuff. Heck, if someone wanted to they could get the MAP to my house along with my phone number & everything!! Isn't there something you can do to block at least SOME of the info?

 

The pipl search tool is probably one of the most inclusive searches of public records, and depending on your state/county/city there could be any number of records on there.

All those documents such as vital records (birth/death/marriage) and land records, judgments and liens, property tax documents and maps in some cases - all are public records.  You'll have a hard time blocking any of that info.  What you can do though is make sure you social security number is not available.  In my state we must block them from public access when processing land records.  Yes, I agree it is scary, but that is the world we live in today with "right to know" laws and all the other things the ACLU fights for.  A better world?  I'm not so sure about that....  How would you like to be a high profile celebrity with crazy stalkers?
