Ok I am about to give up on P3 and just stick with PP. I haven't sent anything with P3 so I guess I should be ok. I have been playing around with P3 this weekend and while I like it there are just a couple of things that are driving me crazy!!!! I am working on putting in a supply order and I want to have it on both PP and P3. I am trying to add a CD and P3 won't let me, I keep getting this red dot, but I can put it in PP with out any problem. What is up with that? I guess I will spend some time with the tech people on monday. |

I wish I could help but I'll be calling them Monday too! I submitted an order with P3 so I'm 'stuck' but now I can't get it to open...error message telling me to call technical support. Ugh! Sandi |

I'm with you. I'm trying to finalize a show and it keeps saying "total due does not equal total paid". I've checked all the customers and the total paid and total due are the same on all of them. Also on the "Payments screen", the total amount due is equal to the amounts listed (i.e., cash, consultant gift, checks, credit cards). Any suggestions?????? I'm getting very frustrated.
So if I want to go back to PP (haven't submitted any shows yet), do I have to uninstall PP+ or what do I need to do? I don't think it's as user friendly as PP (too many red dots!!!). They are driving me crazy.

Monica, it will say that until you put in our PC debit card or how you pay for the show. Can't answer the one about the supply order. I had to resubmit a show I tried to submit on Saturday because the internet was so slow it never did go through and I just closed down the program. Otherwise I pretty much like the new program except for all the reports not being there. Ann |

Don't I feel like a dope!!!! Thanks Ann! I wasn't even thinking about paying for the whole show with my debit card. I just kept thinking it was meaning something with the customer's payments.
It's going to take me awhile to figure this new program out. I'm computer-challenged!

Look at your list of items you are ordering. Is there a red dot there? I have found that if I clicked to add another item and didn't add it, it wants you to highlight that row and delete it. Keep working with the program -- I am loving it! |

Turns out I have officially not loaded the P3 yet. Are any of you having an issue with the speed on this program? My friend tells me it is a pretty slow running program. Virginia |

I've found it takes some time to open, but once open, everything goes very quickly. Angela |

I emailed Tech Support and they did say that the Pampered Partner would be phased out but didn't have a date yet. But said Soon....LOL....The PP3 is REALLY awesome once you get going on it, I have played and played with it and now I forget the other one....LOL. I'm actually doing a mini class for our cluster next week on it. The funny thing is how long it took for me to figure out even though I loaded up the disc, I REALLY didn't have the new one, it looked the same as the old one and I thought I was LOSING it...LOL...I love the new look and feel. |

Speed- I have found my P3 run SLOWWWWWW But I also discoved I do not have enough RAM in the computer and less in the laptop. So I invested to update it. Tech desk said most likley that is the problem. nancy |

I am having the same issue - very slow... so I asked DH to check computer for bugs ( that was good) and he said I needed more memory and bought some (should arrive by mail in in a few days)- I also think I need to delete my old PP but am nervous to do so yet - I guess it would not be an issue as it is saved on a stick anyways - My director had her copmuter fixed by a friend and he said oh yeah that PC program eats up a lot of memory -and this was years ago so I'm sure it has only gotten larger over the years! I'll have to let you know what happens to the sppeed once I make that move....... Glad it's not just me or my computer...Laura |

Well I was able to get a hold of tech support tonight. Apparently the CD I wanted to order is not in stock or something along those lines. If I would have gone to finish the order P3 would have told me specifically that the CD was not avaliable, but I didn't see that screen since I didn't hit finish so that screen would come up. Which at the time was rather annoying, but now that I think about it, that is rather nice. I would rather know ahead of time then put in an order and have something be on backorder or unavaliable. I have P3 on my laptop which has Vista on it, initally it wouldn't let me add expence items, it would automaticly shut down. But I think I fixed that problem by changing my settings like Sandi and Suzie said in an earlier post, I did forget to ask them about my past host's numbers not trasfering over, oh well, I guess I will have to make another call. I haven't had any speed problems, but I do have a new system and with Vista as an OS you have to have lots of memory and power. I guess I will just keep plugging along and go from there. |

For your past host discount numbers.....if it's not recognizing it and it's there. Click on the "look up" link and you'll go to the PC website; look it up. Erase the old one and retype it and that works. Or if you're sure it's right, just write it down, delete it and retype it. I've noticed that deleting something and looking it up again fixes things, even if it was right to begin with...  . I had to do this with a March show...host special was taking for the host and past host. I deleted the entries and looked them up again (which on the "finish" tab, it actually suggested that) and it worked. I guess we need to remember to check the "finish" tab to see what our red dots mean....I'm going to think of it as my cheat sheet for what went wrong--even if it wasn't me but the program!!! Sandi |

Well I still can't get the host # to show up on the main contact screen, but if I put an order in that host's name the discount is given, so I guess I just won't worry about it at this point in time. I have spent the last 1/2 hour with tech support trying to do somthing about the clock on the calendar in P3. It is 6 hours fast and automatically switches over to the next day. No real big problem except I was busy working and way and looked up and thought what am I doing up at 3AM? It was only 9 but still, I tend to get into things and can lose track of time. Definatly more of an annoyance verses a real problem. I must say I do LOVE the milage calcualtor in P3. I try to make every trip relate to PC somehow and I just LOVE the way we can now put in milage. Only bad thing was that I had to go back and edit all my milage from Jan 1 since P3 and PP calculate milage differently. I have a show to close soon, and I guess I will really considering taking the plunge and submit with P3 and go from there. Tech support is definatly very wonderful. |
