How Pampered Chef products can be beneficial when used by vegetarians and those concerned about caloric intake / fat consumption

1. The food chopper is the vegetarian’s best friend! Use it for nuts as well.
2. PC stoneware helps you cook with a lot less fat and oil, and some oil is even absorbed into the stoneware. Chicken can be cooked standing on end in the stoneware bundt pan and drain while it’s cooking. Use the stackable cooling racks to drain other fried foods.
3. Use parchment paper to wrap fish and let it cook it in its own juices with a little seasoning and lemon. Put wrapped fish on stoneware, it cooks evenly without burning.
4. Use the slice-n-grate to slice and julienne vegetables into even sized pieces to make a kicked up presentation and so food cooks evenly. Blades are very shop, can slice tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes with ease.
5. Get a copy of WW points for Pampered Chef recipes, (Ask your consultant for a copy) many of which are lowfat, and utilize them, or check the nutritional information at the bottom of PC recipes from the books or provided with tools. . Use reduced fat canned bread doughs instead of regular (crescent dough and french bread). Check for light variations of PC recipes.
6. Pampered Chef egg slicer can be used for kiwi fruit, strawberries, eggs. Chef’s corer comes in handy with cucumbers and apples.
7. Pampered Chef garlic press is unique and makes a great gift to the pasta or garlic lover. Use other PC spices to add flavor to food instead of salt or sauce.
8. Pampered Chef knives and cutting boards make slicing foods safe and are easy to clean and keep sharp.
9. Pampered Chef crinkle cutter makes interesting shapes of vegetables and pastry.
10. PC Pizza cutter works well with pizza (Cool Red Pepper Pizza is a light recipe!), especially deep dish as it doesn’t drag topping.
11. Anything will look great on Simple Additions!
12. Easy Decorator makes low fat hor d’oeuvres fancy, light, whipped potatoes a breeze. The cookie press works well for reduced fat cookie dough available at the market.
13. Measure-n-mix great for salad dressings, recipes right on side of container.
14. The 1, 2, and 3 tablespoon sized scoops make for consistent sized servings and cookies.
15. The kitchen spritzer can be used for oil, lemon juice, vinegar or other clear liquids. Get a couple.
16. The Generation II and Professional Cookware cooks your food perfects without fatty oils. Rice cooks without sticking in the saucepans and stir-fry pan.
17. The cut-n-seal makes sandwiches, even tuna, fun!
18. Micro-cookers cook veges in the microwave with less oil.
19. Twixit clips keep foods fresh, also has multi uses.
20. Colander Bowl Set/Lid Set: for rinsing, preparing, and storing fresh salads.
21. Deluxe Cheese Grater: you get a lot more flavor from just a little bit of freshly grated cheese than from a lot of pre-grated cheese! (also use it to grate fresh cinnamon or ginger to add lots of fresh flavor to yur meals).
22. Juicer: makes it easy to flavor meats, salads, and veggies using lemon, orange, or other fresh juices.
23. Apple Wedger: makes it easier to grab a fresh apple or pear for a snack.
24. Grapefruit Knife/Citrus Peeler: easy, easy, easy!
25. Julienne Peeler: to make interesting low cal veggie dishes or colorful garnishes.
26. Chillzanne Products: to serve salads, veggie and fruit platters in style.
27. Egg Separator: to get rid of the high-fat yolks!
28. Mini-Whipper: mixes diet drinks right in the glass!
29. Barbecue Tools/Barbecue Mitt: for low-fat cooking on the grill!
30. The Batter Bowls are great for making healthy taco bowls - just put a tortilla down inside the bowl, and bake it at about 350 for 15-20 minutes (I think... not sure about the exact time.. you can get the specifics from s/s 2002 Seasons Best cookbook- Chocolate Fondue recipe). These are great for serving taco salads. Way healthier than deep frying! Or you can do a sweet version for serving a healthy dessert- before you bake the tortilla, spritz some water on one side, and sprinkle with a cinnamon/sugar mixture.
31. Apple PCS. A great one for health conscious folks, and for parents that have trouble getting their kids to eat fruit- kids love the ring shaped apples!
32. Use the pastry blender to separate your tuna!
