Happy Friday!
I am desperately in search of something that was eaten by my failed computer. . . .  Recently, I saw something flash by my computer that included a Batter Bowl with a brownie mix inside that could be used for gift giving and/or holiday shows.  There was some sort of a card that went along with it too.  My computer recently crashed and I lost my email and all my saved documents.  Please help me locate this and/or any other holiday gift ideas that could possibly be showcased at a vendor fair.

Thank you for all your support.  I am slowly limping back into full swing with my business.  The computer crash really set me back - financially and emotionaly (I forgot to call a hostess about the recipe for her show.  Luckily, she called me.)  It is amazing how much I relied on my computer (a good thing except for the crash).  Luckily, my PP was backed up so I did not lose everything.

I am so sorry to hear about your computer. They are wonderful wicked things  Mine has had issues a couple times too. As for the recipe, it is on CC under the products and recipe section. I think it's in the Celebrations part. But don't quote me. It is there somewhere. Also you can go to www.cookierecipe.com and type in cookie mix in a jar and it will come up with tons of them. I used a chocolate chip mix from this site in my batter bowl for a vendor show that I have coming up. Good luck!

Sorry about your computer...I had a similar thing happen to me last year, so I truly feel your pain!

The Batter Bowl Brownie Mix was one of the original Celebrations recipes. You can find all of the past celebrations recipes on Consultant's Corner. Here's the link to the one you're looking for:

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!

This is a wonderful group!  Thank you for your quick responses and detailed information.  YES - This is exactly what I was looking for . . . I'm still not sure where I heard about it originally, but now I have it.

I think it will be great for my upcoming vendor fair.  Has anyone displayed these for sale at a vendor fair?  Just curious how they might work out.  Not sure if I want to order and put a lot of them together to sell or just display one with the idea for people to take home.

I am also doing a fundraiser for a local non-profit ski area and am hoping to be able to add to their sales through any sales that I make at the vendor fair.  Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes - a computer crash can really throw you over the deep end!  I actually contemplated giving up PC during this time . . . things have slowed down and I am not having the best "Pre-holiday season".  I'd love to hear from other consultants that have been in the business for more than a year - Is this a typical pre-holiday season?  I am feeling that most people are not spending this year.  Thanks again!

I'm doing a holiday vendor fair as well, and my director (who has done this same fair in the past) said that she always has the batter bowl with the Celebrations Cookie mix layered in it along with actual cookies on a stone for people to sample. She says she sells lots of batter bowls this way.

This is my first holiday season as well, and I'm also not finding tons of people to do shows, many want to wait until after the holidays.  I'll just hang in there, and hopefully have a great late winter/early spring!  Good luck!

Hello Darcy:
Thanks for the information.  Hopefully things will pick up for us both.  The area that I am in - western Massachusetts and CT seems to have slowed way down.  My director keeps saying that it will get better, but I'm slowly losing hope.  I too will hang in until after the Holidays and see how things go.  I had a good spring and summer.

Thanks for the support.

There are other recipes for the batter bowl on the PC main website as well:

Celebrations Cookies
Cowboy Chili
Hearty Minestrone soup

Check them out -- they all have gift tags as well!  I just made a cookie bowl for my Sunday show (and all my future shows before the holidays).  I put a Holiday ribbon on the handle and there you go!

Jayne -- Wendy Stone spoke about batter bowl parties at our last meeting, feel free to contact her with other questions!

Here is a list I've been gathering too....

It's not formatted yet, and I still haven't added the ones from CC...

When I get it finished I'll upload to the docs...
