I just got a call from a customer who wants me to teach her grandchildren and their friends how to make a gingerbread house.  This should be great fun.  I've done other special classes for this customer who always buys a $125.00 Gift Cert. for herself and then collects outside orders from the other mothers.  She is ordering kits for the houses and just wants me to help the kids decorate them.  My son and I  decorate a gingerbread house every year and take pictures as part of our traditions.  I even have a big thick book with lots of ideas that my hubby gave me one year as a gift.  Just thought some of you might use this idea also since it can be tough to get those December bookings sometimes.  I'll let you know how it goes.

Excited!!!

Sharon

At our Safeway store they are having Gingerbread house decorating. It was in the paper, they pay for the Gingerbread house. Thats all, just bring their aprons and family.
Good Luck on your workshop,
Jane

How fun!  Let us know how it goes!  You could also show off the Stoneware heart mold by baking a gingerbread cookie in there!

I LOVE gingerbread men!  Last year I decorated my entire house in gingerbread!

You could also bake up some gingerbread men cookies and then you'd have a little treat to eat too!  I buy the refrigerated gingerbread dough and use tiny cookie cutters, outline in that frosting you get in a tube and pop a cinnamon candy in the middle.  Super easy and lots of fun!
