They sound great.  I had just printed off a recipe which sound somewhat similar from Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals called Almond Snowballs. She topped her cookies with a candied cherry and two almond silvers.

So funny!  I've been making cookies and treats all week and last week and decided to pull out the Angel Almond Macaroons recipe again this year since I gave most of them away last year.  I JUST finished up baking them.  My hubby, who couldn't get enough of them last year I remind you, asked what are these?  They're so good!  To which I replied my new favorite cookie in the whole world!  I really love these cookies!  If you haven't tried them you HAVE to!!

 

My kids even helped me this time.  They are so super simple to whip up which makes it even easier for them to help out.  We just take turns dumping ingredients and stirring.  They had to go to bed before they were done cooking so they'll be surprised in the morning!

 

Now my biggest problem yet again...trying not to eat them ALL!!!
