Hi all, I'm still working on taxes, grrr, but hubby wants to know can we still claim standard deduction for our house if I'm doing a schedule C for my business?? Thanks, Hope everyone has and is having a wonderful easter!! Lisa |

Hi there- It's been a couple of years since my tax courses, so I double checked and found advice on the web that says yes. That's because schedule C is used to calculate your gross income, and the deductions come after that on the tax form- they are very separate things. Good luck! Teresa |
