Just had to share some success that might help others.  I don't remember where I saw it but someone was having a HWC competition to see who could sell the most "pink" items and the one who does wins a Exec saute pan that I have (got it 60% off).  So I decided, "what could it hurt".  I planned a HWC fundraiser for next friday.  Not alot of responses but I need to make some phone calls this week!  Anyway, my mail lady (who I gave a $25 g/c for x-mas and she ordered $200) came to the door on Wednesday so I could sign for a certified letter.  I invited her and she couldn't come!  I know she wants to get two sets of cookware for her daughters later.  So I tell her that she should take an order form and try to get some orders.  She says "I don't know what I can do", so I tell her that I don't even know how many people are participating so she could win with only a few.

 

Well, she comes by to see me today because her co-worker wants the cups and saucers and wants to know how to get them.  So I tell her that she has to have a show and she takes the paperwork for a catalog show.  As shes walking down the steps she says "Oh, by the way, I have 50 orders so far, do you think I might win?".  After I picked myself up off the floor, I said " I think you might just!"  Then she said that most of the orders were for the bar board!

 

You just never know!
