You were all so great in helping me come up with a PC Halloween gift a couple weeks ago.  I had planned on using those ideas all together but things have changed.  I stopped by this weekend to drop of the prize (a Pumpkin, My Safe Cutter for carving, and a couple recipe cards for a pumpkin cake and roasted pumpkin seeds).  Then I get in touch with her and she's not going to be home and I can't drop it off.  No big deal...EXCEPT that she lives 1 1/2 hours away!  So it's not like I can just drop it off today instead.  So I won't be back in town till Halloween and need to come up with something that's not too late to use for Halloween.  I may have to switch it to a Thanksgiving gift? 
 
What do you all think?  I could just send off the My Safe Cutter with the recipes in the mail I guess.  But it's not much of a prize.  The pumpkin at least make it seem more substantial!

maybe get a Wal Mart gift card for $10 and put a note in it ..
 
The Pumpkin I bought you told me it would be like sticking him in an oven if I tried to shove him in P.O. Box so instead we went to our Wal-Mart and got you this gift card...please redeem it for one of his cousins or something sweet for you to eat.

CUTE!!  Think I'll do that but probably only $5 though.  It was for a silly little contest in my newsletter nothing big.  But then I can include the My Safe Cutter and recipes and not feel so cheap!

Took your idea and made a poem to put on a 4x6 index card....here goes!!
 

Tried to put Mr. Pumpkin in a box to mail<o:p></o:p>

I can’t fit in there!  I’m much to fat!<o:p></o:p>

That hole’s too small for me!  Stop that!<o:p></o:p>

But Mr. Pumpkin said that just won’t work�?lt;o:p></o:p>
