I'm thinking of giving each child in my kids classes (turns out to be about 30 between the two) a PC ornament for Christmas.  So I'd like to keep it fairly inexpensive.  I want to get started soon and wanted to pick your brains!

My first thought is Small Bamboo Spoons.  Drill a small hole in the top of the handle in the side and slide a ribbon thorough.  But I want to add something cute to the spoon to make it look more like an ornament and less like a spoon with a hole in it!  Needs to be cute since it's for the kids.  Really wish PC had Christmas cookie cutters...that would have been easy! lol!

Any ideas?  Spoons or otherwise?  If I can get these done early enough I'm hoping to add an invite for them to come with their parents to a PC cooking party.  Not sure what we'll do yet.  Cookies take too long but maybe make hot cocoa mix or something for them to take home and leave for santa?  I also have a Reindeer feed recipe that would be cute and fun for them to do (involves glitter)!  You sprinkle it in your yard for the "reindeer" and the birds eat it.

What about sticking with your idea on the spoons but making them reindeers (like you do with tootsie pops).  Using pipe cleanings for the antlers, puttings eyes, etc. (I would use the rounded side of the spoon as the front of the face.

Oh how I wish I were talented enough to paint on our spoons!  Today at Hobby Lobby I found the cutest wooden spoon and fork ornaments that had snowmen painted on them.  Bought one for myself cuz they were just too irresistible!  Anyway, I think I figured out what I'm gonna do.

I bought some of those mini cookie cutters in holiday shapes 3/$100 (and I got 50% off!) and I'm gonna tie a ribbon around them so they can be used as ornaments.  Then I'll make up some tags/recipe cards/booklets with instructions on how to make homemade play dough and maybe other ideas?  If I get ambitious I may just make up the dry ingredients for the play dough into individual baggies and tie to the ornament!

They're not PC, but I'm still giving them something cooking related and I'm doing the Night Before Christmas Party for the kids as well.  That will come first then the ornaments at their school party.  So the parents will know who it came from and remember I sell PC!

Any other ideas as to what I can do with these cutters?  I already bought them so they're a done deal.

Help Santa find his way to your house! On Christmas Eve, make sure you leave out some magical reindeer food for the reindeer. That way you can be sure they will stop at your house.

Mix together:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup instant oatmeal
2 tbsps of glitter* (substitute edible sprinkles if you live in an area with wildlife)

Sprinkle this mixture on your lawn. The reindeer will smell the oatmeal and stop at your house!

*If you live in an area where wild animals live, don't use the glitter.  It can harm wild animals.
