I have one of these next Tuesday for my Mom's Club. I don't have a lot of ideas to offer. I would like some more too. But here is what I do have:
Cookie mix in Small Batter Bowl wrapped with a bow
Bar Board, apple and quickut paring knife wrapped
small Simple Additions bowls with candies or spiced nuts wrapped
an oven mitt stuffed with tools with a cute saying attached
the whisk filled with kisses with the tag attached
That's all I can think of right now. I am hesitant on offering cash and carry. I do have some things that I could offer. I just worry about the warranty. Why would they buy it when they could order it and get the warranty? Any thoughts on this would be great.
Beth

I have a receipt for everythgin purchased and all they have to do is contact me for the original receipt.  No different than having a gift given to someone that someone else bought for them!

Also how do you wrap the bar board and apple?

What are the tags saying?

Yes I am doing the brownie in the cookie mix bowl as well as the soup.  I think there's 3 recipes to use so I am doing all 3.  I will have to try the oven mitt stuffed is it hard to do?

If you have cash and carry would you just place everything like that out and not worry about displaying other stuff?  In such a tight area of space I am worried.  I also think I will set up the kit like the picture for recruiting tools.

Thanks Michelle

Mine is this weekend too!  I also have a very small space.  My own fault.  We had originally had only 4 vendors and now we have 5.  So that cut down space for ALL of us.

I have two big PC boxes FULL and I mean FULL of cash & Carry.  I'm thinking I'll bring my little take along table with me for those.  I have duplicates of a lot of things so I'll just keep one out till I sell it and then pull out the next.

As for ideas I think I have my gift tags in the docs.  Yep!  CLICK HERE!!!  How do I use those?  I used this flyer CLICK HERE as my guide.  I've used these twice now and everyone always gets a kick out of them!  This time the biggest problem will be weeding through them to find which ones I CAN use with my small space.  I'm wondering if I have anything (boxes or something) that I can make two tiers on my table.  That would be nice.  Set it up against the wall and stand out in front of it.  Then I can make an L shape with my other table I'm bringing and put my C&C on that.  Can you bring an extra table?  Even if it's small it might be worth it for the c&c.  At the state fair they had a big basket they filled with some of the smaller things with a c&c sign.  I have a big bucket that I tote with me as my garbage bin but it's aqua blue...not really holiday colors!

About the cash & carry, I'm going to tell people that most of the items don't come with a warranty.  BUT if they have any problems to let me know and we'll get it worked out.  I'll honor a warranty on things like stoneware (only have a couple pieces anyway) or things I generally have issues with anyway.  But mostly I have a lot of little tools.  Trying to find a cute way to display that stuff without looking like a Flea Market table!

My biggest issue right now is that my fair is 1 1/2 hours away and I can't get up there till Friday night.  My sister is in the high school musical so I can't go till that's over either.  It will be a long night or a VERY early morning!  I hate being the last person to set up!

Also would like to get some balloons to put out front to draw people's attention and an open house sign that might bring in people who weren't invited or forgot!

I don't own the oven mitt but I usually do a stocking stuffed with tools.  I'll have to get a BB mix done!  That's a cute idea!  Then when people comment I can say oh!  you should have a gifts from the kitchen show!  I might even make some mini muffins and wrap those up with a pretty bow and set on the MMP.

I've been working on this for a couple weeks, you'd think I'd be more prepared!

Ok a couple of things.  The brownie mix is really not good tasting.  I don't say that much about PC recipes but I personally think that one is horrible.  there are three other recipes that you could do the layered BB Mixes with. Tags are included on CC.
When you all say the oven mitt you mean the silicone one right?  Why not try the trivet hanger.  It is on the back of the holiday catalog and I think that we just got an email late last week about how to make it.  I thought it was so cute.

At fairs around this time of year I always stack the SSMB and tie a ribbon aournd them to look like a gift.  Also you can put the whisks in the handles of them to give them a cross sell idea.  Maybe if you want to go big take a one or two quart pot (either collection but the executive is best) and add a chef's tool to it then tie it with a bow.

Good luck
Tiffany

I keep showing the Coffee and More cups. Take one put a SB in it with a citrus peeler, small bamboo spoon, mini spatula, or mini whisk (or any combination to make your target $ amount) and some candy in the bottom. Then I tell them what a great little gift this is for teachers, a secret santa exchange, sunday school exchange or for anyone else that they need a little gift for.

For the small tools you have that are cash and carry - get a little christmas tree that will stand on top of the table. Hang the tools from it like ornaments.

Those are the ideas I have for now.

Jenny was so great and updated some of the pics in the gift tags file.  She's out of storage, I'm out of storage!  If anyone has any storage left who would be willing to upload this file to our docs that would be AWESOME!!!

Email me, my email's in my profile!  Thanks!

For the apron and cookie set I use For the Young and young at heart.

Can't think of anything for the bar pan right now other than Serve up some sweet treats and warm wishes this Chirstmas.

As for displaying them, I just set them in front of the sets or on top.  People just pick them up.  I also wrote on the back of all my tags suggested gift ideas.  Like the Bar Pan and Serving Spatula along with a brownie mix.  Then put the prices for each item, aprox price for brownies, and a total gift idea price.  I won't be able to use mine as they are right now since prices have changed and products have changed.  I should probably print them off again...
