I am thinking of sending out a flyer for black friday. When is everyone sending out there flyer? Also does anyone have any ideas as to how to word it since I wil not be home to take calls that day. I am one of those people who has to work that day.

I've had one today.  The woman called me yesterday at 7 am and again today at 7 am to ensure that I had her order.  It's 12:45 pm here and not one since.  But the good news is I have a show closing at $279, so I'm going to add this woman's $20 order to it and pocket the extra products & pick something at 1/2...so it's not a total loss.  A poor Black Friday hasn't made a difference in what I'd be doing today anyway.

Ok. I think my ladies went a little overboard. I'm glad I saved up for this....
My sale started at 6am and from 6 to 7 I had 50% off.
Ya, duh! 50% off!!
My total so far before discount is: $4295.00
So I am splitting it up into 2 shows and using the half priced and free stuff for a lot of peoples stuff. I am also giving from the inventory I have here (which saved me!).
My commission is going straight to these shows but at least this way I will have earned level 3 for the incentive and am definately going to San Fran.
Will I do this next year?? I'm not sure. Now that I am a Director I will have a lot more inventory but keeping track of everything and figuring the best way to keep the littlest out of my pocket is driving me nuts!

Well, I sent out an email last week announcing the sale and a reminder email the day before Thanksgiving announcing my hourly specials...I really wasn't expecting any orders at all, but I did get 2 with total sales at $131.40, so it was better than I expected...oh, I also got a booking for next year.

I did 550.00  was very excited.......put me to 3000 for november sales and 4000 for the month and that is 500 closer to bahamas!  woohoo....

interested in booking a show.

Actually, I only sent the email to my booth leads. Haven't had
any parties yet. But hopefully, this one will be awesome.

I emailed her that if we can have her party before Dec. 9th we could plan the menu, send e-vites, and have everyone's order turned in just in time for Christmas delivery.

I know that the deadline is the 15th of December to turn in shows in time for Christmas delivery. I just thought if I told her sooner it would help her with figuring out a date.

i did a "weekend after sale" -- and actually got 163 in product sales - wo where I was able to get the host benefit of the roasting pan for a friend whos host at first didnt want it - so we both lucked out...now if only people would book a darn show!! Way to go on the almost $5k orders...i'm pos. that you'll be enjoying the Bahamas!!

I've been having MAJOR issues with my puter lately. (My laptop in particular, the puter I use for my biz, has once again died on me...pst! might I NOT recommend laptops that begin w/a "D", ends with a "L", has 4 letters, & rhymes w/"bell"...not naming names or anything here...talk about a customer NO service....ok, sorry to digress...back on topic)
 
Anyhoot, as a result I wasn't able to offer a BF sale like I had wanted, sooooo, I was thinking of coming up with a WEEK of Black Fridays Sale.  Or maybe I should just stick w/a 12 Days of Christmas Sale like I did last year....Hmmmm.....food for thought here.....Whaddya'll think?

I'd go with something more 12 days of Christmas like.  My hubby said the other day...What an awful name for the day after Thanksgiving.  Sounds evil! 
 
I tend to agree!  I mean, if you're out in those stores, it's a dangerous almost mean place to be!

How about something like this? Or you could adjust it to a 12 days of Christmas? I just emailed this out around noon today. I've already gotten about a dozen read receipts, so now hopefully people will buy. Not expecting much, but every little bit will help. Feel free to use whatever part of it you'd like!

       Do you already have a flyer for the 12 days of Christmas.  I saw the one for the hosts but not one for guests or sales. 
 
Also even though I am a Christian and celebrate Christmas can we think of another name for the sale.  I have many friends and customers who don't celebrate Christmas.  Most wouldn't get offended but it is nice to look as if I was considerate of their feelings/beliefs.  I am always bad with catchy titles.

I have not been on the loop here for a while and unfortunatley I am inactive.  I need to give my biz a serious shot, can you please email me privatly and explain how you did this I'd like to try something like this since I missed the Black Friday thing.  And adtvise on how to get the past hostesses and guest to respond would be greatfully appreciated too.  I have the worst luck with customer follow ups past host and guests mailings and just getting show leads period.  Everyone else in my group is doing great and they have other jobs, I am a stay at home mom but I am also the chair for our Relay for Life (thanks to our wonderful HWC campaign ;D) I haven't been to a meeting in months because quite frankly I have not felt like part of the group.  If you could insruct me as to how you have accoplishsed what you have posted here I would be eternally grateful to you.
