What To Do During Holiday Down Time
By Kim Dantino enhanced over the years by Linda Pawloski, Nancy Decker, Sara Philbin, Leslie Swannack and Chris Manion

  1. Book, book and overbook January
  2. Try our new recipes. Create new recipe list for next quarter
  3. Change the way you do 1 thing during your demo and practice it.
  4. Reorganize your work are, folders, binders
  5. Decide your goals for the new year, and what you need to get there.
  6. Check local newspapers for organizations to do fund raisers in the spring. (Who did craft fairs?)
  7. Keep in touch with January hosts.
  8. Host holiday open house ?even after the holidays when everyone can breathe!
  9. Talk to friends and family about booking a show (or someone else will!)
  10. Fill 2007 calendar with family events, cluster meetings, conferences so you don’t book shows on those dates
  11. View a PC show video
  12. Read motivational, organizational and success books
  13. Clean products, crates, bags for shows
  14. Personalize a Recruiting Binder
  15. Prepare tax deductible receipts
  16. Note odometer at end of year
  17. Read the P.I.G.
  18. While out shopping, pass out catalogs and business cards
  19. Works with your recruits
  20. Clean or replace guest folders if you use them
  21. Go through Think Big past issues. Cut and paste to appropriate file folders (host coaching, quick tips, recruiting, bookings, etc.)
  22. Set up Business Binder if you still don’t have one. Weed through olds leads if you do.
  23. Take a few minutes to write a note to someone who has made an impact on your life with The Pampered Chef.
  24. Write a hand-written note to your children of what 2006 meant to you. They’ll cherish your per-spective and learn from it forever.
