Ok this is my first year with PC and taxes. What all so I need to have with me when I do my taxes? Is just printing out a year report from PP enough? Do I need to bring in all my recipts when I go to do taxes? My Hubby likes to get things done early and I want to make sure I am not the cause of an extra trip to the tax office. Thanks

Erica

I usually do my own with Turbo Tax.  But yes, you'll need to bring in all your reciepts from what I'm told from my tax preparer friend.  The reports from PP are mostly for your own records.  But they are important for showing Consultant Gifts.

You'll also want to bring in a mileage record if you plan on deducting mileage on your vehicle.  I didn't realize my first year that you need to know the beginning mileage on your vehicle as well as all the miles driven.  So I didn't get to claim it my first year...bummer.

This year is gonna be a hard tax year for me.  In the last move, I lost all my receipts from Jan. to July.  Luckily I can still print receipts from places like VIP and email records.

I haven't even received anything from PC yet for taxes!  But I started thinking that I too would like to get started early this year too.

Talk to your tax preparer.  They can tell you more specifically what you'll need to bring in for them.
