Hi Ladies -
I need your opinion ~ my son has an aunt that past away from Beast Cancer last year ~and with the up coming New % for Fundraisers,  I was wanting to contact the local Support groups to offer them a Fundraiser night ~ is that being proper or to personal to ask someone that is going through the ordeal to do a fundraiser to help with research and stuff? Thank you in advanced for your opinions...

I think they would love to help with a fundraiser!  I have a neighbor who is a BC survivor and she is super excited about May and about having a fundraiser.

The only question that may come up would be whether you're going to donate any portion of your commission as well, which of course is up to you and you'll know whether your family is going to expect that or not.  And you can explain to them that you don't get a full commission on fundraisers anyway.

Good luck!

That looks good to me. But I have a question? Where do you
find the figures for the fundraisers? I was thinking of doing a
fundraiser. And all I can find is that we give 10-15% back to the organization.

The new amounts are in the February Consultant Newsletter - I got mine on Friday (which was weird because normally I dont get it until almost the end of the month - and I am here in IL)...but the $ and % increase info is in there -

Oops, sorry I didn't know. I haven't received my Consultant Newsletter yet.

Plus I was wondering if it applied to the regular fundraisers as well.

The increase is ONLY in May and ONLY for HWC fundraisers.   A fundraiser for a school in May would be at the regular fundraiser rate. A HWC fundraiser in April would also be at the regular rate.
