Okay, so I entered my show from yesterday in P3 for a trial run. So far, I'm not hating it.

I like that in the lookup you can type in "Large Round Stone" and it will show you all of them, like the Guest Special, the Host Special and the regular price, I think the regular PP lookup is not so easy.

I also like the big red dot next to anything that needs my attention, like if there is something missing.

I also like that there is the host address and the ship to address. I have some hosts who always ship to my house because they are not home to get their shipments, so they show up in my contacts with my address which is aggravating when I want to do a mailing or look up their phone number. So now it will keep their info in contacts and just ship to my address.

BUT, maybe someone can answer me this one. If I go into a guest order, in this case an outside order that hasn't been paid, I can put in payment type "not yet paid" but then when I go over to the "Payments" tab, it shows Payment Type as "Not Yet Paid" but the Balance Due as "0".

I think if I were just scanning the payments tab to see which payments I still needed, I might miss the Not Yet Paid because it shows at a ZERO balance.

Did I do something wrong? If I don't pick "Not Yet Paid" or some form of payment, the guests who didn't pay don't show up on the Payments tab at all.

Is there someplace we are supposed to report stuff like this that seems like it may be a glitch?

No, you didn't do anything wrong, Shelby.

As a matter of fact, I have been using P3 for about a month now and never realized there was a "not yet paid" option there!   I just leave the not paid customers blank and they show their balance due.  I guess you have to continue that way.

As far as your suggestions... I have spoken to the tech dept. and they want us to let them know when something doesn't work or we have a suggestion.  It is the only way they can improve the product.

Go on CC and under home office emails there is a tech option.  Email them your suggestions.....

I like the same features you listed about P3 (especially the search!!!)  I think this program will be great because it has so much potential.  We just need to get past the learning curve....

I just learned something, Shelby....

When you enter the payment as "not yet paid" change the amount to 0.00.  Then when you see the payment summary, the total due will show....

Woohoo! I knew someone out there would have to be able to answer me that one! Fantastic! That will be a great quick easy way to see who owes and who paid.

Thanks!
