What are you doing in regards to Sales Tax & Shipping?
I would like to use this form but I know I can't cover shipping for each order. So are you just totaling the sales all together & paying the $4 Shipping cost that way? But again there's the Sales Tax.
I figured that you are probably getting The Season's Best cookbooks off of HO Supply Order.
What I usually do is figure the price plus tax and round up to the nearest 50 cents or dollar. I put that price on the sheet. I put the whole sheet in as one order (in the name of the peron who collected the orders or the person who purchased the most if I collected them) so the extra change usually comes close to covering the $4. If there is extra--add it to round up.
Since there's not a spot on the Pre-Order sheet to figure out tax & the 50cents (for shipping). Do the people who order understand/complain about that?
Ok--I change the listed price--no one seems to care or notice that it isn't the same price as the flyer or you can add a line that tax and shipping is included. For example, I will change the $5.50 nylon knife to $6.00 even since there is 40 cents tax and the 10 cents will add to the shipping. The $6.50 I will change to $7.25 I think since there is 47 cents tax and that three cents won't help much! The $7 I will make $7.75 since there will be 51 cents tax. The 28 cents and 24 cents will help offset the cost of shipping. Say Mary collects orders for me at her beauty salon. She collects orders from customers of three measure-alls, 6 scrapers and 5 knives. I will then have 30 cents from measure-alls, $1.44 from the scrapers and $1.40 from the knives. Total of $3.14 so I only need to have a consultant gift of 86 cents (which is a tax write off) to get the $4 for Mary's order. Clear as mud?
