To get them to think about hosting a May or HWC show

 

the pink SA - not just for May - use them at baby showers, bridal showers, the Easter table with M&M's - use all Spring and Summer long

 

the platter - Multiple purposes - put a pretty colored bowl in the middle and have it as a center piece full of fruit on your table - use it to bring the brownies to Aunt May's summer picnic

 

The measure all cup - use it along side your 2 cup one has your 2/3 c. liquid the other has your 1 1/2 c. dry ingred. all measured out and ready to use

 

Scrapper - get that last bite of PB out of the bottom of the jar and enjoy

 

Nylon Knife - not just for cakes - use it to cut your lettuce head in half without leaving rust marks - cut those brownies on your platter without leaving a mark from a regular knife - use it to cube pound cake for your trifle

 

there are so many different ways to promote these wonderful item - personally anyone that purchases all 3 items I am giving them a $1 off shipping - if someone booked a show in May they get a pink ribbon pin and earring set at the beginning of their show (help promote bookings)

I of course hand out a HWC biz card to everyone and point out the products.  But I also bring along my past HWC items even though they are discontinued.  I think it brings home the fact that they are one time only items.

 

I also make sure to read the back of the card out loud.  People are truely shocked about the fact that 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. 

 

I started mentioning it in my March newsletter and went into a little more depth this month and will dedicate most all of May's newsletter to HWC.

 

Oh!  A good line I read somewhere was...Every May we dedicate the month to honoring women.  Most importantly our Mothers on Mother's Day.  PC wanted to dedicate the month of May to women as well and that's why we do HWC...(explain HWC a little bit)...How about hosting a Mother's Day tea party along with your HWC show this year?

 

I'm going to get my mom to make me a table cloth from some fabric at walmart that I'll bring to all my March-May shows.  I'm thinking about setting up a small HWC display with past products (until the new ones get here) and info about HWC, breast cancer, and my HWC mega catalog show.  I'm also adding a Power of Pink theme show specifically for HWC. 

 

This is my second HWC mega catalog show this year.  The email goes out the last week of this month.  I'm recruiting past hosts and customers to gather 5 orders and they get chances to win the show when it closes.  I'm bringing it along with me now too and when they come to the table to check out I ask if they'd be willing to gather 5 orders in May to HWC.  I'll then give them a flyer if they don't have email (don't have one made yet) and let them know I'll be contacting them.
