Any great ideas for Superbowl shows (men and women).  A great sb cake anyone?  Any lowfat, weight watcher's type recipes that are fun to make?  Any input  would be wonderful....thank you!   Cathy

A cake idea would be the batter bowl football cake, you make it in the batter bowl and cut in half and lay together at the wide ends so it looks like a shape of a football.

An old time PC fave of mine is TOUCHDOWN TACO DIP!!

To make it easier for you, here's a copy/paste of it:

Touchdown Taco Dip

(More Stoneware Sensations Cookbook...pg 16)

1 (16 oz) can refried beans

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

2 Tbls taco seasoning mix

2 garlic cloves, pressed

1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup pitted ripe olives, chopped

2 Tbls fresh cilantro or parsley, snipped

1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped

1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions with tops

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread refried beans over bottom of Deep Dish Baker using Super Scraper. In Classic Batter Bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning. Press garlic into Batter Bowl using Garlic Press; mix well. Spread over beans. Shred cheese over top using Deluxe Cheese Grater. Bake 15-18 minutes or until hot. Chop olives using Food Chopper. Snip cilantro using Kitchen Shears. Sprinkle tomato, onions, olives and cilantro over dip. Garnish with additional sour cream, if desired. Serve with Baked Tortilla Chips.

Makes 16 servings

Cook's Tip: Pantry Southwestern Seasoning Mix can be substituted for the taco seasoning mix, if desired.

HTH,
Marian
