Hi, Y'all from North Florida!

I found out about this MSN Group from Joy's Tasty Tidbits newsletter site. I just qualified in my first 30 days and what a whirlwind it has been! (I also work full time.) I sent out my first Tasty Tidbits newsletter this morning now that my PWS can accept individual orders that are not tied to a specific show. I'm in Tallahassee and St. George Island, FL and I belong to the Margit Miller cluster in Tallahassee.

A bit of my story: I bought my first cookbook (a paper back Fanny Farmer cookbook) at age 16. My mother was/is an uninspired cook. When I was a child, I knew what day of the week it was by what we had for dinner. My favorite stores have always been Betsy's Sunflower, Williams-Sonoma and Crate and Barrel - you get the picture. I have been a Pampered Chef customer for MANY years. I have the Pampered Chef chopper that came in a box that says Pampered Chef and the actual chopper says Zyliss on it from the early days. I loved the kitchen store that came to my door!

The new consultant incentives this summer (August 2008) were just too good to pass up so I took the plunge a bit earlier than I had planned but I am loving it -- not getting as much sleep as I used to but I feel like I'm on my way to my next career. I'm now doing something I love so I never have to work a day for the rest of my life.

Welcome to the board! I loved reading your story; what a great story to share at your shows. You know, it gets people's minds going that they don't have to come from a family of good cooks to be one!

I know what you mean about not getting as much sleep! In my first 30 days I was up very late (or early, depending which day it was!) reading as much as I could about PC.

It sounds like you're really enjoying what you do with PC and I wish you the best of success!

jill : )

hi from Oregon
Use to be a consultant back 2004 for 2 yrs. then in May this year a friend wanted me to go in with her well since then the friend didn't want to continue after her 90 days.
So got my own # and started back up. I look at it this way, now I can try some ideas I didn't get to the first time around and I learned a some more of what both to offer/do and what not.
