which is the reason that at 1:10am I'm on the computer instead of sleeping!  I am very proud of him but right at this minute I'm having a moment.  I miss him already!
Any ideas for coping?  Of course, he's seen nothing but full and enthusiastic support from me and his Dad, but Mommy feels a meltdown coming.  Thanks for listening.

Go ahead & have that "meltdown" (aka: "a good cry") but wait till AFTER he leaves. Know that you're not alone. My daughter experiences that just about every time her hubby deploys. She just tries to remain strong while he's still there, but then her & all the other navy wives will have themselves a good cry once the sub has left for sea. It's NORMAL to feel this way & keeping it in is not a good thing. But like I said, just wait till your son actually leaves. It's AWESOME that he has such good support homeside, so you're already headed in the right direction, Patrice.

Much blessings & thanks for raising such an awesome son that he's willing to stand up & fight for what he believes in,

Marian
