For those of you who listen to Christian music, be praying for Steven Curtis Chapman and his family. Yesterday his teenage son accidentally ran over their five year old adopted daughter and killed her. I can't even imagine what they are going through .
We really need to pray for his son.

Thanks.
Monica

I saw this this morning.  I'm just in shock--this poor family.  They have a rough road to travel in the days ahead.

Praying!

I, too, was very sadden & heartsick over the news of the loss of his precious little daughter MariaSue when I read about it on Wednesday evening.  I agree, Monica, we DEFINITELY need to be praying for his son as well since he will most likely bear the horrible guilt of this accident in the days, weeks, & months ahead.

I don't know about you, but I've been soooo ministered to by SCC's music over the years.  (Btw, have you seen SCC's newest song "Cinderella"? It moved me to tears when I first heard it & still does just about every time I hear it on the radio.)  He truly has a genuine heart for the Lord as it comes across both in his music & in his outlook on life, especially toward the orphan & adoption worldwide, but especially those from China from whom his last 3 daughters were adopted. From the videos SCC has up on his blog MariaSue was a  precious precious little girl. And now she has gone home to be with Jesus.

Speaking of which, here's a touching article which includes vids of him & his daughter doing dishes together from his blog:
Such a sweet child & a loving father.....

I will continue praying for his entire family as they have a long hard road ahead of them.

"Mourning may last for the night but JOY will come in the morning."

"He will give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy & gladness for mourning, & the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness."
