OMGosh, this past weekend we went & saw "Fireproof: Never Leave Your Partner Behind", & let me tell you it was one AWESOME movie. You'll find yourselves laughing one minute crying the next then laughing again, then crying some more & so on. It's about saving a marriage & it stars "Growing Pains" Kirk Cameron as a firefighter who's a hero to everyone but his wife. Whether you have a good marriage, an okay marriage, considering marriage, have a marriage on the rocks, divorced, or single, YOU NEED TO GO SEE THIS MOVIE.....like RIGHT NOW!!!! It placed 4th overall this past weekend & hopefully will remain in theatres till next weekend & beyond. This is what USA Today had to say about it: " The surprise of the weekend, though, was the Christian-themed Fireproof. Made for $500,000 and released on 839 screens, the Kirk Cameron drama did $6.5 million and took fourth place.
"Most analysts did not expect the film to crack the top 10, yet it enjoyed the second-largest debut this year for a film opening on fewer than 1,000 screens; the biggest was Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour, which debuted to $31 million on 683 screens."You should read what common everyday people are saying about it HERE. We went with our church this past Saturday night & we'll be following up with the "Love Dare" book. I am SO excited about it I can't stand it!! LOL If you want to watch a movie that will not only tug at your heartstrings but also make an impact on you & your marriage, GO SEE THIS MOVIE. Then go tell a friend like I'm doing now. Or grab some friends & their other halves & go to the movie on a group date movie night. It'll be SO WORTH IT, I PROMISE you!!! WARNING: bring a bag or box of Kleenex to share....even my hubby was touched by it, & so were alot of other big macho guys in the theatre we were in. Once you see it you'll know EXACTLY what I'm talking about..... Love to all, Marian |

PS Forgot to mention that even Dr. Phil who plugged the movie last Thursday on his show gave it a VERY FAVORABLE endorsement of it. Check it out for yourself HERE. |

Marian, I totally agree with you. It was the BEST movie I have seen in a long, long time. My in-laws church bought out a movie theater and we went with them. It was packed. We took our kids (son - 17 and daugher - almost 12). They both really like it, too. In fact, my son took his girlfriend and another couple on Sunday after church because he enjoyed it so much and really wanted them to see it.
I truly wish they would make more movies like this. Kirk Cameron was awesome. I just love him.
I can't wait until the movie comes out on DVD and for the book, "Love Dare" to come out. I'm going to be the first in line to get it!
Go see it before it's gone!!!!!
