Congratulations!!  I have been a dachshund mom 3 times.  Theo (our third) is 9 years old and still thinks he is a puppy LOL.  They are a wonderful dog.  Enjoy them.

They are so cute!  I have 3 miniature longhaired Dachshunds, 2 that I bought as puppies, and 1 was a rescue dog.  The 2 are brother and sister, red in color with some cream fur on the legs, and the girl has a reddish dapple face. . This is a picture of Chester and Chelsea when they were about 4 or 5 months old.  :)

Oh how cute!  The puppies are getting so big!  They've more than doubled in size and just opened their eyes a couple days ago.  One of them is already starting to try to walk.  I was gonna take an updated photo but I can't find my camera anywhere!  I bet the baby ran off with it.  The last time he ran off with something my hubby had to buy a new watch!  We found his old one wayyyyy under the oven 3 months later.
