To start off our Weekly Challenges, I thought we should start by preparing ourselves for SUCCESS!  So here is our FIRST WEEKLY CHALLENGE!

Have fun with it!
The ModSquad

Take out a piece of paper and write down all the talents and skills you know you possess.  Don’t be shy, you know what they are.  Don’t think about it, just write the first things that pop in your head.  What's special, unique, distinctive, and/or impressive about you?  What makes you, YOU?!!

Now, post 5 of them here.  We’re all family here anyway, right?  It doesn’t matter what they are…just write down 5.

Ok…now I want you to look at each of those traits and give a short explanation of how they help you in your PC biz.  How do they make you a special, unique, distinctive, and/or impressive consultant?

The point of this, OUR FIRST CHALLENGE, is that I want you to feel good about yourself!  I PROMISE that when you see what you're good at, others will see it too and your business will benefit immensely!

I'll start...

1.  CREATIVE - helps me come up with new ideas to make my shows more fun!
2.  SMART - My hubby would say I'm wasting my talents but I disagree!  I KNOW that because I'm intelligent I'm a great consultant and I've put my priorities right where I need them to be right now.  Besides, our job it to EDUCATE...I'm good at that!  I KNOW what I'm talking about...lol!
3.  PERFORMER - I love to dance and sing!  I love to entertain people!  That's what our job is all about, right, entertaining!
4.  HONEST - Maybe I'm too honest, but I let my customers know when I don't like something.  Gives me credibility.
5.  CHEESY - This is what makes my shows FUN!  Especially theme shows!  I don't mind people thinking I'm kooky!  Makes me a real person to them not a salesperson!

1. Loyal: Once I've started something, I don't like to be a quitter. This can be good, but sometimes can be bad....but I think it will be good for my business, because I'm in it for the long haul. I hate giving up!
2. Hard-working: Well, this one speaks for itself. When I WORK, I'm successful; if I don't put forth any effort, I get back what I put into it, no matter what the activity...
3. Competitive: I like to compete with the other members of my cluster and I like the recognition when I win the competition. It makes me feel good and it's profitable, too!
4. Smart: This helps me figure out where to get time in a day that is already jam-packed with more activities than should be allowed in a 24-hour period.
5. Generous: I'm generous with my time, my love, my knowledge, my abilities...and this makes me willing to put more into something that will earn things for those that I love.

Organized: even though I may  not feel organized right now, I am in my head, and I can't imagine keeping up with shows, hosts, orders and guests if I couldn't remember who I met at what party.

Love to cook: That's what got me started in this business :) I've always done a lot of cooking and trying out new recipe, when I started cooking shows all I had to do is start talking through my actions.

Committed: I started just to try it out, but I can't see myself quitting anytime soon... Customers like to know that their consultant is going to be around for reorders and warranty issues.

Technologically savvy: Helps me navigate website, find information, process adjustments, check on order status, make flyers etc.

Quick learner: Helps me memorize details about the products, learn new concepts and steps.

1, friendly - makes people want to come to parties and to host parties with them
2. persuasive - this really helps when I do shows. I honestly love most of the products and I think that shows and "persuades" people that they need to try them for themselves
3. organized - ok, this is a skill I've always had, so I'm sure I must still possess it somewhere. I guess I'm organized in my own way which keeps my shows running smoothly
4. I'm a pretty good cook and I love it most of the time - this definitely helps with shows. I also have my "hate to cook" days. To me Pampered Chef helps both of the chefs in me. It makes it fun and easy when I want to experiment with new recipes and makes the chore of cooking go faster (and easier) when I'm tired at the end of a long day and just want to put something on the table fast.
5. caring - I try to make sure that people are ordering things that will be right for them and try to hep them when things don't turn out right. giving good customer service is an important part of my business.

This was fun. I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's answers and to the next challenge.
