How long have you had the same 10 news items on your PWS? Are they all still relevant? Is there outdated info that needs updated? Sure we update our websites every month…or at least we should be doing it every month! But are we paying close attention to EACH of the links? Are there missing pictures? Are you still talking about last month’s specials or last season’s products? When was the last time you updated YOUR story or about me section? When you visit your website does it make YOU want to buy something, book a party, join your team? This week I challenge you to do a PWS makeover! Doesn’t have to be drastic…just make sure you’ve updated all the correct info. Add something new…switch things up! Our PWS is a very valuable tool…if we use it! Let’s make a commitment to USE our PWS this week to it’s fullest capability. Don’t forget to post what you’ve done to makeover your PWS! |

Thanks for the nudge!! I update my website monthly, but on the computer I use most often the popup to get to the picture gallery doesn't work, I have to start up my other computer for that. So most of my news items didn't have matching pictures. Today I updated the news items to be current and have current pictures, added things to the calendar and made sure everything displays right. Using the scripts that TPC offers sometimes the quotation marks don't display right in all browsers. One of the headlines instead of saying "lettuce" it said ?lettuce? Yay :) I feel like I accomplished something today already! |

I don't think we have an option for it not to say "more" because the top line is like a hook and we want them to click the "more" and read more.

Whew! I thought I did a pretty good job keeping up on my news items and such. So I figured this challenge would be especially easy for me...considering I created it too! lol! BUT I couldn't believe the amount of things that needed FIXED!!! When I took the time to SIT AND READ through everything I noticed quite a few things that needed attention! I also didn't have a 10th news item so I added one more. It doesn't make any sense to leave those blank! But now I'm done! Who's next??? Michelle |

Whew! I'm sure glad this challenge was here b/c I seriously didn't realize how many things needed updating on my PWS. For starters, there were 2-3 pics that were no longer working so I had to update them to newer pics. I STILL have to update my "Bonus Featured Recipe of the Month" recipe though I just did a couple of weeks ago. I'll probably wait till next week to do so. Prior to the last time I updated it, it had been MONTHS since I had updated the featured recipe. Thanks for these awesome CHALLENGES you're giving us, Michelle!! It's just what I need for that "kick in the (business) pants" to get me going!! LOL Can't wait to see what you have in store for us NEXT week!!  Marian |
