GQ, the only liar here is you..how many times have you been busted now for using alt nics....about a hundred..you are in the same league with your buddy Jeff...all those years ago...and now you are back to your same tricks.  I guess that is why you changed from Spirit Explorer to Graphic Queen and how many other names you have had.  You can´t even make up your mind what your beliefs are according to your posts in soem you are Pagan and some you are Christian...which is it?  Or are you a split personality now?

Nope, I changed from SE to GQ because of Jeff hacking into my email account and taking it over. I no longer even have that account and haven't for years now.

BTW asshole Merena, I consider myself a Christian Pagan. I am sure that you would not understand because you are one of those idiot people who don't undertand gray areas. It has to be black and white to you. Try again SMD. It is funny watching this and please, post some more over at Topix. I love how they chew you up and spit you out everywhere.

A Christian Pagan huh interesting...and no one chews me up...there are tons of white supremists such as yourself on Topix Elaine and you didn´t have to change your account just change your password...so that is a sorry excuse for changing your nic...ironically it happened at the same time that you were booted from several groups for using alt nics.

I am not sure how a person manages to be both a Christian and a Pagan at the same time because the beliefs do not mix.  But you continue with that story if you like.

Oh and when I changed my nic I was a big enough person to make a thread about it in the groups that I belonged to...I annonced that Merena and Summermoondancer were the same person and that I had changed my name for two reasons because of heritage and because I had renounced my Christian beliefs and became Pagan.

Yes, the beliefs actually do mix quite well, but of course you would say otherwise because you have no idea what a Pagan is in reality. I am not Wiccan at all. I am Pagan and that is quite different deary. You might try to do some research before posting and showing your ignorance.

I changed my name and all because of tha hack and because of the fact I was doing lots of graphics, as I still do, and at that time was in an RV for some time. You know what SMD. FU** off and quit worrying about why I do anything. I never asked you why you lied and told the people over at Topix that your nickname was an Indian name, when in fact, you told me and others that it was the name you picked for your Wiccan initiation. Get a life girl and quite worrying about me.

Aren't you happy that you found out that I did, in fact, know what I was posting about when it came to proxies and that you could not get away with just another of your LIES that people couldn't change their country?

No GQ, they don´t mix well because Christians specifically say that witchcraft is one of the deadly sins.  I know there is a difference between Wiccan and Pagan evidently you don´t understand the difference between Pagan and Christian...Christians specifically speak out against Pagans all through their bible.

GQ, my nick is Indian...I was specific about it.  My name was given to me by a Cherokee, my grandfather and it is part of my iniciation as well.  I picked it as part of my Pagan name but that didn´t mean that it doesn´t have any other significant meaning in fact I spoke quite lengthly about my Mother´s father being full blood Cherokee.

So you haven´t found out anything...btw I also stated that my name has a significant meaning with my real life...for instance the month I was born and my first name and dancing...remember?  Seems a whole lot like how Indians get their names to all of us.
When I went to the reservation way back when I got my name...it carried on...if you remember my heritage is why I abandoned my Christian beliefs...or I guess you forgot that minute detail.

Can you be Christian and Pagan?

Author: Sunfell

Can one be both a Pagan and a Christian? Are the paths mutually exclusive, or can they be recombined in harmony? And what flavor of Christianity is compatible with Paganism? Should this new growth be encouraged? I hope to answer these and other questions in the course of this writing.

The simple answer to this question is Yes and No. It really depends on your background and approach to your spiritual beliefs. I count two sorts of Christo-Pagans: those who are of mainline Christian backgrounds and have 'gone Pagan', and wish to 'hedge their bets' by incorporating Christian elements into their spiritual worship. These are Christian Pagans. Then there are the Pagans who have completely laid aside their Christian upbringing and are thoroughly Pagan, but through careful study of Christian history, reclaim those elements of Christianity that have been rejected by the Christian mainstreamers. It is the latter group that I will be primarily addressing, and who I call Pagan Christians.

I have spent many years researching religions of many sorts, including Christianity. It has been almost an obsession with me, that seeking to find the kernel of spirituality that animates faiths of all sorts. In my studies, I have discovered that religions are like facets of a vast gem, one that leads, with diligent study and deep courage and commitment, to a place closer to the Great Unknowable Deity. This is not "God" of the Bible- this is a Be-ing beyond our comprehension. Its very Name speaks volumes, we simply do not have the capability to discuss of understand it. Yet all cultures have within them the religious impulse, because all humans have within themselves a miniscule particle of this Great Mystery. And that particle yearns to return to its origins. Thus, the function of religion: an attempt to explain the unexplainable, and renew our ties with GUD.

If you would have asked me if there could be such a path as Pagan Christianity fifteen years ago, I probably would have shouted "No way in hell!" and shown you the door. You see, I was going through the anti-Christian phase that most Pagans go through on their way to their path. This phase is necessary in many cases, because many Pagans come from religiously repressive backgrounds, and active rejection of their old religion is part of the act of cleansing the negative influences off and making way for the positive ones. It's almost the polar opposite of the 'born again' experience- but instead of 'snapping' into a religious haze, the Pagan snaps out of the confines of old dogma. Anger and resentment and harsh criticism are the hallmarks of this 'unleashing' of the previous faith.

Unfortunately, many Pagans get stuck in this stage, and find great glee in baiting zealots, causing controversy, demeaning other faiths (even when they deserve it), debating True Believers and generally rejecting anything remotely connected with Christianity. Sadly, this is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Yes, many Christian faiths are overwhelmingly dogmatic, and some worship the Bible and fear the devil above God. And many sects mistake the Messiah for God, and worship him as such. And some have painted a picture of the Christ so bizarre and blurry as to be totally incomprehensible.

First off, there is a divine and All Powerful God. He or she is in complete control over all other divine beings and controls the fate of each.

I do believe most of the Bible. I, however do not believe most Christian preachers' interpretations of the Bible.

I believe in a series of "lesser gods", be they "angels" as the purist believes, or actually "godlike" as I believe.

I believe in satan, but not as a worship idol, rather as an icon to represent evil. And in my belief, icons cannot be worshipped.

I believe in the reverence and worship of the Divine Mother. And I believe in ceremonial worship, as set with my basic beliefs. I do not, however believe you will go to hell if you don't go to church on Sunday. Rather, I believe purist Bible which states the body is the temple.

Our bodies, being temples, should be treated as such. They should be kept pure within and free from the evils of the world (meaning satan, if you wish).

Human nature is good, as it was created pure at birth. Evil integrates with human nature as a result of being integrated with the evil around us in the world.

Each person, once old enough to understand and create their own belief structure, is accountable for wrongs they commit.

I believe the Wiccan credo which states, "Do as you will, but harm no one." That is directly inline with Bible teachings: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."-Matthew 7:12 I know Christians will deny these are in any way the same, but I assure you, they are.

Wiccans and most Pagans believe that we control our destiny it does not control us.

I do believe most of the Bible. I, however do not believe most Christian preachers' interpretations of the Bible.
So you realize that it says that witchcraft and being Pagan is a deadly sin right?  You also realize that it prohibits you from some of the hate you spread around.
I believe in a series of "lesser gods", be they "angels" as the purist believes, or actually "godlike" as I believe.
Christianity doesn´t permit this they believe only in one God...their ten Commandments gets in your way.  Especially the part about not worshiping dieties.
I believe in satan, but not as a worship idol, rather as an icon to represent evil. And in my belief, icons cannot be worshipped.
Again Pagans for the most part do not believe in Satan or hell.
I believe in the reverence and worship of the Divine Mother. And I believe in ceremonial worship, as set with my basic beliefs. I do not, however believe you will go to hell if you don't go to church on Sunday. Rather, I believe purist Bible which states the body is the temple.
Oh most Christians don´t believe you go to hell if you don´t go to church.
Our bodies, being temples, should be treated as such. They should be kept pure within and free from the evils of the world (meaning satan, if you wish).
Little extreme don´t you think?

Human nature is good, as it was created pure at birth. Evil integrates with human nature as a result of being integrated with the evil around us in the world.
Not what Christians believe...they believe that original sin is creaed with the conception of the child.
Each person, once old enough to understand and create their own belief structure, is accountable for wrongs they commit.
I agree.
I believe the Wiccan credo which states, "Do as you will, but harm no one." That is directly inline with Bible teachings: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."-Matthew 7:12 I know Christians will deny these are in any way the same, but I assure you, they are.

Oh of course they are teh same...but that is exactly the point you can´t be a Christian and Pagan at the same time their bible forbids it.
