oh man, last weekend i entertained friends and relatives for dinner.  kevin my neighbor came over, steve from work ,abrahim and his wife came over, and  a fella i grew up with who happens to be a rabbi came also.  well dinner was wonderful, the vibe was most excellent everyone enjoyed the meal, and each others company.  my grandson had a scout meeting so i watched my 6 year old going on 35 granddaughter, it started out to be one heck of an evening.  i went to prepare and serve after dinner refreshments, and lo and behold when i got back into the living room, the conversation had turned to religion, i cringed inside.  well i politely listened for about 20 seconds that is about all the silence i can take on the matter and then scotch in hand waded into the conversation, it went on for hours, finally about 10p everyone made their exit.  i  turned on the tv and gave my grandaughter a blanket she snuggled into the couch and was out in minutes, i headed nito the kitchen to clean up, and  headed off to my study to work on my next book.  i crashed about 1am.  i got up early as usual had to get the dogs out and get em fed.  noel arose about 730, i made her oatmeal and settled down with a cup of coffee and the paper.  it wasnt long before noel  sat down next to me, she had her coloring gear she loves it, and the questions started, and would go on for 2 hours, it became a pop pop interogation.

whos allah, whos jehobah, i didnt know jesus  was jewish, and on and on and on.  i finally grabbed my dobermans collar and leash, asked my daughter to watch her and fled out the door, fresh air has rarely smelled so good.

that  wasnt however the straw that broke the camels back.  about an hour ago my older chihuaha tazalina, shes 13 years old, doing well but has trouble with steps.  well its abit chilly today, and she `didnt want to go so i reached down and picked her up, and i almost fell over as she growled out at me alla-ala-la.  thats it man, no more religion in my house, even the animals were affected.  jerry

I know what you mean.
I have to make a trip to my grandson's school some time in the near future. It seems his teacher told him that all Witches should be tied to trees and burned.

So, if sometime in the coming months, you happen to see a mushroom cloud over the Midwest - you know I went to see him.

Blessed be
