it occured to me this morning that faith in a god and faith in a man seem equally religious in their natures.

interestingly the similarities between the jesus crowd and obama crowd are glaring, neither know anything much about either man but both assign almost godlike qualities to both.

both espouse a savior mentality, yet fight one another tooth and nail in relation to whose messiah is the most humane.

in the end i suppose blind faith is all we really have, despite our protestions to the contrary. jerry

Are Republicans any different?  I know it's a painful memory but remember how they idolized Bush at one time?

Are you saying that people are putting the same kind of Faith in Obama as they do in their religious beliefs?

If so..........count me out.  I might change my mind if Obama showed us he could walk on water, but I don't think that's going to happen.
